Since its establishment, the Research and Control Laboratory, now called REDA Laboratory, has been at the core of our business as one of its most considerable drivers.
Equipped with modern systems enabling to reproduce on a small scale the same production operations and processes carried out at the factory on powerful plants, the laboratory tests - on amounts of a few hundred grams - what is going to be produced in tons on an industrial scale.
A great number of activities are carried out at our laboratory, such as:

working out and developing custom-made new materials in a wide range of elastomers for a wide range of final applications. |

determining the physical-mechanical properties of elastomeric materials, along with tests specifically aimed at verifying their chemical and physical resistance. |

issuing of test certificates. |

constant updating of the scientific and technical literature. |
|
|
evaluating new ingredients and trying out innovative technological solutions. |

|
conforming the existing formulas to material regulations, laws and requirements, with a special focus on aspects concerning the protection of the environment and the health of final users. |

continuous updating of a computer database for quick and easy consulting, containing thousands of formulas and their pertaining properties. |

|
direct contacts with agencies and laboratories in Europe and worldwide for the certification and approval of mixtures for application in the following sectors: construction (conformity with specifications, compatibility tests with plastic materials, paints, sealants, colourfastness tests), medicine (biocompatibility tests, conformity with the European and U.S. American pharmacopoeia), food (conformity with FDA 177.2600, BgVV, D.M. 31 March 1973 and revisions), potable water (certifications CSTB, WRAS, NSF, KIWA, DVGW, AS), railroad and transportation means (fire resistance according to DIN 5510, NF F 16101). |
